Best NFL Picks for Week 15

It’s just been one of those seasons.

The Browns were up on the Packers in the fourth quarter by two touchdowns. Getting four points, we surely had that game notched in the win column. Even Cleveland couldn’t figure out how to both blow this game outright and lose by more than a field goal, right?

Then again, that’s why they’re the Browns.

Cleveland Browns +9 vs. Baltimore Ravens – Heaven help us for barking up the Browns’ tree again. You’d think that we would have learned our lesson, right? But alas, we’re here again, trusting that DeShone Kizer isn’t going to chump up two more picks. And even if he does, we’re banking on the Browns figuring out how to stay within single digits against a team that is fighting for its playoff life and absolutely cannot afford to punt this game. Simply put, we’re fans of where Cleveland is going. Kizer isn’t the answer under center, but with two top-10 picks coming in this year’s NFL Draft, he doesn’t have to be. Josh Gordon and Corey Coleman are making a dangerous receiving duo, and with each passing week, this defense looks better and better. Are the Browns ever going to win a game this season? Maybe. Maybe not. Quite honestly, we don’t care. We just want Cleveland to find a way to keep this one competitive for its fans.

Kansas City Chiefs +1 vs. Los Angeles Chargers – We don’t get it. Sure, the Chargers are hot right now, but they’ve had absolutely no luck at Arrowhead over the years, losing three straight and scoring more than seven points in just one of those games. Kansas City was easily the better team back in Week 3 when these two clubs met, and this is effectively a playoff game for both squads with the AFC West title likely ultimately on the line. The Chiefs feel like they turned a corner last week by beating the Raiders. Los Angeles has a poor rush defense, and if Kareem Hunt has another game over 100 yards as he had last week, this is one Kansas City should win.

New England Patriots -3 at Pittsburgh Steelers – The Patriots flat out own the Steelers. We hate the fact that we’re going to be all over Joe Public here, but we don’t see a choice. Tom Brady isn’t going to put together a third straight stinker against a team he has dominated over the years. The Patriots got their wakeup call last week against the Dolphins, and they should be better-served for this game now. Bill Belichick has a way of taking away all of the best options an opposing team has, and the Steelers don’t have any answers if Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown are limited. Pittsburgh has been a lot more lucky than good this whole season, and this feels like a beatdown waiting to happen.
